Distinguished Students, scholarship recipients and Delta Omega-Epsilon Gamma inductees were recognized at the annual College of Public Health Distinguished Students Awards Ceremony on April 6, 2023.

Congratulations to Andrew M. Snyder, MPH, BSN, Ph.D. candidate, CPH outreach program director, who was awarded the Ohio Public Health Association’s Distinguished Achievement in Health Equity Service at an awards ceremony on April 25, 2023, in Columbus.

Since she was little, Anaya Spencer has experienced the value of the community. Now, following her family legacy, Spencer will pursue her passion for championing Black maternal and infant health and equity as Â鶹¾«Ñ¡â€™s 2023-2024 Newman Civic Fellow.

CPH graduate student's legacy will live on through helping others.

Cugini currently serves as communications strategist for CommunicateHealth, Inc. where he assists in the dissemination plans for health communication projects for agencies like the CDC and the Department of Health and Human Services' Office of the Secretary.
