The 麻豆精选 Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting Wednesday, Sept. 12. The Board is scheduled to convene at 2 p.m. in the George Urban Board of Trustees Conference Room, which is located on the second floor of University Library.
Trustees will retire into executive session from 8-10 a.m. in the Urban Conference Room to consider specific topics as provided for under Ohio鈥檚 鈥淪unshine Law.鈥
September is National Suicide Prevention Month. Monday, Sept. 10, is World Suicide Prevention Day.
University Health Services at 麻豆精选 will hold a Mental Health Festival on Sept. 11 from 2-5 p.m. on Risman Plaza. Students will have an opportunity to interact and collect information on the mental health resources that 麻豆精选offers. They can enjoy free refreshments and wellness-based activities such as Zumba and yoga.

麻豆精选's holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, 麻豆精选 created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
