Alternative Breaks

Â鶹¾«Ñ¡'s Alternative Spring Break trips expose students to social justice and cultural issues through direct service, community engagement, reflection, and a variety of cultural activities.

These programs engage students in service, inform them about current social issues, and encourage their on-going involvement in social change

2025 Alternative Spring Break

March 8-13, 2025 (each trip has slightly different dates)

Â鶹¾«Ñ¡'s Alternative Spring Break trips expose students to social justice and cultural issues through direct service, community visits, reflection, and a variety of cultural activities.

Our Spring 2025 experiences are:

  • Strengthening Ohio Urban Communities (Youngstown, Ohio) -- one-day experience on Monday, March 10th
  • May 1970, Student-led Collective Empowerment, and the Civil Rights Movement (Jackson, MS) -- Saturday, March 8th through Thursday, March 13th
