The 麻豆精选 alumni family grew by more than 2,400 new graduates as the university held its fall commencement. The accomplishments of the Fall Class of 2021 were recognized with in-person commencement ceremonies and a virtual commencement ceremony for all colleges and degrees on Dec. 17-18. All of the commencement ceremonies were livestreamed at www.kent.edu/commencement.
More than 1,200 of the graduating students had confirmed their participation in the in-person commencement ceremonies.
During the in-person and virtual commencement ceremonies, graduating students heard from 麻豆精选President Todd Diacon and Senior Vice President and Provost Melody Tankersley. Graduating students received individual name recognition and participated in the conferral of degrees and tassel turning ceremony.
The in-person ceremonies for all colleges and degrees on the Kent Campus were held at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation (MAC) Center on Saturday, Dec. 18, at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
To participate in the in-person commencements, graduating students had to complete their ceremony RSVP by the end of October. Each graduating student registered for commencement had tickets for their commencement ceremony guests to attend.
