Spring semesters on university campuses are marked by heightened social and political awareness and activities. With Â鶹¾«Ñ¡â€™s roots as a champion of free speech and student activism, President Todd Diacon is reminding the university community of our commitment to freedom of expression as a core value guiding our work.

One of the many take-aways from the Dialogue and Difference program "Understanding and Combating Islamophobia" was that overcoming Islamophobia and other forms of racism and bigotry may be as simple as remembering the lessons we should have been taught as children.

 Since 1997, Lashonda Taylor, Ed.D., associate chief of staff for Â鶹¾«Ñ¡'s President’s Office, had many detours in her college journey but eventually earned her Doctor of Education in Interprofessional Leadership in 2023.

The college name goes on Crawford Hall.

Religions in times of conflict.

As part of Kent State's Dialogue and Difference: A New Understanding" initiative, faculty members from diverse backgrounds came together in an online panel to share their personal insights in navigating the impact of conflict and cultural and religious identity. 

Hannah Petrosky, a member of the Scientistas, is training to take pictures of the eclipse with grant funded equipment.

Scientistas Foundation members are helping the Research Center for Educational Technology host a pre-eclipse event for the community on April 3 and learning how to operate a grant-funded camera and telescope.

Ashtabula Campus Students

Â鶹¾«Ñ¡has pledged to offer a host of benefits to Notre Dame College students who have accrued 60 or more credit hours. For those with fewer than 60 credits, the invitation is extended to apply to Â鶹¾«Ñ¡as transfer students, with a commitment to facilitating a smooth transition.

The Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ Board of Trustees approved the establishment of four new majors during its regular quarterly meeting held March 6 on the Kent Campus. The Board also approved recommended actions for the East Main Street Project in Kent and a naming action.
