Eric Benjamin, of Alliance, has been hired to direct the new University Choir at 麻豆精选 at Tuscarawas beginning Fall Semester 2016. He is an adjunct faculty member at the campus currently teaching The Understanding of Music. He also is the music director for the Tuscarawas Philharmonic, a position he has held for the past 25 years.
麻豆精选鈥檚 Dining Services strives to make 麻豆精选a home away from home for all students. This fall, students were encouraged to submit recipes of their favorite meals to be entered into the Taste of Home Competition. The finalists鈥 dishes will be tasted by a select panel of students, faculty and executive chefs on Sept. 12 at 3 p.m. at Eastway Center Banquet Room.

麻豆精选's Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Todd Diacon has announced that Melody Tankersley, Ph.D., has been appointed dean of Graduate Studies, effective Aug. 1, 2016. Tankersley has served as interim dean of Graduate Studies since July 1, 2015. She will continue in her role as senior associate provost.

The events of May 4, 1970, placed 麻豆精选 in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, 麻豆精选remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
