LGBTQ+ Center Giving Tuesday Promotional Image feat. 2024 Lavender Graduates

Thank you for participating in 鈥淕iving Tuesday!鈥

The LGBTQ+ Center wants to thank everyone who kindly donated to our LGBTQ+ Emergency Fund this Giving Tuesday month. Our Emergency Fund assists LGBTQ+ students who are in financial crisis, oftentimes as a result of being disowned after coming out to family.  This emergency fund is a safety net for LGBTQ+ students, so they can reach their educational goals, specifically reaching graduation, which likely wouldn鈥檛 be possible without assistance through this fund.  Each year the Center helps nearly 50 students through this fund, distributing over $25,000. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to replenish our critically low fund, ensuring we will be able to continue to support our LGBTQ+ students this coming spring semester.

Thanks so much for your support of this exciting opportunity! Keep watching our listserv emails and social media for information on our fund and stories about the impact of your contribution.

Check back for Spring 2025 Events!
