Rae Sremmurd took the stage at FlashFest two years ago and is back for another round at Kent State.
鈥淩ae Sremmurd put on a great performance last time and has since continued to put out great hits, so we decided to ask them back for another awesome performance,鈥 said Cliff Glowacki, director of programming for Undergraduate Student Government.
Rae Sremmurd is known for several popular songs including 鈥淭hrow Sum Mo鈥 and 鈥淪wang.鈥 Most recently, their hit song 鈥淏lack Beatles鈥 posed as the theme song for the Mannequin Challenge viral video craze. Adams is best known for his hit 鈥淎ll Night Longer鈥 and 鈥淗elluva鈥 featuring Kat Nestel.
This year, in addition to music, there will be games and interactive activities on the Student Green.
鈥淚鈥檓 really excited for FlashFest this year,鈥 Glowacki said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 going to be a great show, and it鈥檚 a great deal to see Rae Sremmurd and Sammy Adams in one show. We also have games and attractions that I think the students will enjoy.鈥
