Verder Hall
Verder Hall will be back for the fall 2025 semester.
Highlights
- Named for Blanche A. Verder, Dean of Women, 1922-1938.
- Dedicated in 1957.
- Houses approximately 230 students from first year to upper-class.
- Community spaces (including lounges and hallways) are air conditioned.
- Student rooms have an individual portable AC unit per room. The AC unit sits on the floor and vents out the window.

Rooms
Verder Hall is comprised of deluxe single and double rooms. There are also a few singles and singles with private bathrooms. All beds use twin extra-long sheets. Fridge, freezer, microwave units are provided. The furniture in the rooms provides a multitude of furniture arrangement options! Student rooms have an individual portable AC unit per room. The AC unit sits on the floor and vents out the window. Students who are not familiar with the noise portable AC units can make should watch our Verder Hall video - coming soon - before selecting Verder Hall.
