Latham, Ph.D., School of Library and Information Science, has been named to the board of the International Committee on Training of Personnel (ICTOP) of the International Council of Museums (ICOM). ICTOP addresses the professional development of museums and heritage and the educational preparation of professionals working around the world.

The Outstanding Teaching Award is presented by the University Teaching Council. WKSU expands its coverage of science and research with 鈥淓xploradio Origins,鈥 a new segment airing on Thursdays during local broadcasts of NPR鈥檚 鈥淎ll Things Considered.鈥 鈥淓xploradio Origins鈥 is a weekly series that ponders some of the biggest questions in the universe in 90 seconds. The feature is produced in coordination with the Institute for the Science of Origins (ISO) at Case Western Reserve University with host Kellen McGee.
Online final grading for Fall 2018 First Half Semester (H1) begins Friday, Oct. 12, via FlashFAST. Grading also is now available for any fall 2018 course section that was flexibly scheduled. The deadline for grading submission is midnight on Wednesday, Oct. 17. Any final grades for fall 2018 courses not reported in FlashFAST by the grades processing deadline will have to be submitted using the Grade Change Workflow. These fall 2018 courses will be available in the Workflow on Friday, Oct. 19.

From a perspective of nearly 50 years, 麻豆精选remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
