About the Theme
Arctic nations hold a crucial role in stewarding the Arctic environment. Their responsibilities include:
- Protecting fragile ecosystems
- Managing natural resources sustainably
- Promoting the well-being of Arctic residents
- Collaborating with other Arctic nations to address the challenges of climate change
- Respecting the rights of Indigenous populations in the region

Join us as we explore these responsibilities and their global implications through the lens of undergraduate research. Mark your calendar for an engaging day of discussions, presentations, and insights on one of the most critical environmental justice issues of our time.
Student Participation
There will be a paper competition, and students can register to present their research in one of the following formats:
- PowerPoint Presentation
- Poster Session
- Personal Statement Reading

The Earth Day Environmental Justice Conference is an annual event held each spring on the Saturday closest to Earth Day (April 22) at . It showcases undergraduate research on Environmental Issues. Students from all campuses are welcome! This event is free and open to the public, however, RSVP is appreciated.
