June 2021 Social Media Recap

Our content during the month of June featured scenic sunrises and sunsets, news of our new scholarship programs and announcements about the Fall 2021 semester. Let’s see what posts were most popular with the Golden Flashes this month! 

 

Instagram

Our top-performing post this past month featured the partial annular eclipse on an early morning! With the Moon traveling between the Earth and the Sun, viewers got to witness what is called the “ring of fire.” This phenomenon created a beautiful sunrise and led the post to a total of 1,619 likes!

Facebook

Much like Instagram, our followers on Facebook also particularly enjoyed the solar eclipse photo in all of its glory. It was the most-liked post on the platform with 317 total.

 

The other top post from June included exciting news for the 鶹ѡcommunity! As we prepare to welcome students, faculty and staff back for the Fall 2021 Semester, we announced a full slate of in-person activities! We also announced the loosening of campus health guidelines.

 

Twitter

The solar eclipse was also our top-performing post on Twitter, too! 

In another notable post, 鶹ѡannounced a new Scholarship Program – Flashes Go Further. This one-of-a-kind program covers more costs to help students graduate.
