ADDITIONAL COMMUNITY RESOURCES

is the State of Ohio agency that empowers Ohioans with disabilities through employment, disability determinations, and independence. OOD does this through three areas:

  • Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation
  • Bureau of Services for the Visually Impaired
  • Division of Disability Determination

The Ursuline Sisters Scholars Program seeks to break the cycle of poverty through post-secondary education. It offers individual mentorship, scholarships, financial assistance for school-related and living expenses, workshops to promote personal and academic growth, and links to community resources. Students' incomes must be below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines; priority goes to single parents and current/former Beatitude House program participants.
To apply to the program please contact Emily Moran, Program Director at 330-746-6622 or email emoran@beatitudehouse.com. Please contact organization directly.
