Enology students of 麻豆精选鈥檚 Ashtabula Campus are leaving a lasting impact with their high-quality luxury wines.
Local wine connoisseur and writer for the Akron Beacon Journal Phil Masturzo recalled in his article 鈥淔un food pairings make KSU wines shine,鈥 that upon sampling two 麻豆精选Ashtabula Wines, he thought, why not enjoy a full glass?
鈥淚 had a glass of the Sunburst Riesling 鈥 A few more sips of the wine had me thinking that I could do this 鈥楢ll Night Long,鈥欌 Mr. Masturzo wrote. 鈥淚 couldn鈥檛 be more impressed with the wine, a nice easy drinker with elderberry and blackberry flavors.鈥
Thanks to 麻豆精选Ashtabula鈥檚 partnership with Laurello Vineyards in nearby Geneva, enology students have had the opportunity to enhance their educational experience by participating in grape growing and winemaking.
麻豆精选Ashtabula is home to Ohio鈥檚 only winemaking program, offering its students hands-on experience.
