IN A FLASH: A New Tradition for a Living Memorial

麻豆精选Air Force ROTC cadets were among the volunteers and members of University Facilities Management's grounds crew who were planting daffodil bulbs on the May 4 National Historic Landmark site after the university's Veteran's Day Commemoration on the Student Green.

Daffodil Hill was created as a complement to the May 4 Memorial to honor the 58,175 U.S. service members who died in the Vietnam War.  Now, for the second year, Kent State's grounds crew invites volunteers to plant bulbs during Kent State's Veterans Day Commemoration to bloom next spring.
