Hands in motion.

A North Royalton woman whom who will become a Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ student in the fall, won first place at the Medina County Fair talent show for performing a song in American Sign Language.

Â鶹¾«Ñ¡volunteers serve home-cooked meals to Kentway residents.

Every other Tuesday, student volunteers from the Campus Kitchen at Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ prepare dinner for the residents of the Kentway Apartment Complex, a government-subsidized housing complex on East Summit Street in Kent. At 5 p.m. residents gather in the dining hall and volunteers serve the meal which is prepared from food donated by Trader Joe’s.

Â鶹¾«Ñ¡students Caitlin Seifert, Emelia Sherin and Danielle Vivcharenko were three of 22 women who competed for the crown in the Miss Ohio 2019 Pageant.

Phillip Grant, Jr. grew up in Kent, Ohio, and attends Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ as a broadcast journalism major. Considering he has spent the majority of his life in the Tree City, Mr. Grant is the perfect tour guide for WKYC's Danielle Wiggins. Watch as Mr. Grant shows Ms. Wiggins all the town has to offer.

Kenzie Alge, a Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ certified flight instructor and 2019 graduate, and Alex Johnson, a Â鶹¾«Ñ¡junior flight technology student, make up the Â鶹¾«Ñ¡team competing in the 2019 Air Race Classic that starts June 18 in Jackson, Tennessee.

Every graduation is full of stories of hard work, perseverance and friendship. Some of those stories go back to a first day of class or the first day on campus. But a few Â鶹¾«Ñ¡friendships started on the first day of kindergarten -- or even before – and have been blossoming since.

Ya'el Harvard

Throughout her time at Â鶹¾«Ñ¡, Ya'el Courtney completed a Senior Honors Thesis/Project, authored several published peer-reviewed journal articles and presented at several national and international conferences. As she continues her education at Harvard University, she intends to conduct a significant amount of research focusing on psychiatric diseases.
