It took three years, a move from California to Ohio, and several other bumps in the road. Still, recent Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ graduate Vincent AhSam-Kreiter has achieved his goals of earning a bachelor’s degree, becoming a registered nurse and being a newly commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force.

Music, dancing and food were all part of Â鶹¾«Ñ¡â€™s lively commemoration of the Juneteenth National Independence Day federal holiday, celebrating the rich history of Black Americans.
