Get-togethers, BBQs, parties and eating out on patios at restaurants make it challenging to achieve and maintain a healthy body weight and overall good health. On Thursday, July 19, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, we will focus on summer foods and cooking methods, their positive and negative effects on our bodies, and how to achieve or maintain a healthy lifestyle over the summer.
The presenter will be Tanya R. Falcone, M.S., R.D., L.D., coordinator for Kent State's Center of Nutrition Outreach in the School of Health Sciences. This session will be held in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, Seminar Room B and is open to students and all full- and part-time faculty and staff. .
For full-time, benefits-eligible employees participating in the Wellness Your Way program, this session will be worth 10 points toward your Tier Two total.
