Inventive makers across all disciplines, from art and design to technology and science, will once again have the opportunity to exhibit and discuss their unique talents at the fifth annual 麻豆精选Mini Maker Faire on Friday, April 13, from noon-4 p.m. on the first floor of University Library, as well as the surrounding area, including outside the building (weather permitting) at on the Kent Campus. The event is free and open to the public. Community members may park in the Kent Student Center Visitor鈥檚 Lot.
A Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and sharing what they can do. Kent State鈥檚 event features nearly 40 exhibitors. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, this venue provides an opportunity for students, faculty, staff and alumni, as well as members of the surrounding community, to exhibit their work, explore new technologies and creative processes, and talk firsthand with makers, while sharing information and resources.

Kent State鈥檚 Mini Maker Faire was developed in collaboration with University Libraries, LaunchNET Kent State, the College of the Arts, the College of Architecture and Environmental Design, and the College of Aeronautics and Engineering.
