1. Multiple Career Pathways: Long-Term Care Administration is a versatile degree that offers many different career paths. Graduates of this program are equipped to work in a variety of settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, independent living communities, retirement communities, senior housing, adult day services, ancillary services, and service delivery agencies.

License Preparation and Credentials: This program is designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to obtain the Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license, Health Services Executive (HSE) credential, and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) certificate. The program includes CDP training and online practice exams to prepare for licensure.

3. Application: The LTCA coursework is designed to encourage practical application and active learning throughout the curriculum. The program culminates in a 1,000-hour internship spread over two semesters. The LTCA program has established strong partnerships with both for-profit and non-profit organizations.
