Collegiate Leadership Competition

The Collegiate Leadership Competition (CLC) is offered every spring semester to a maximum of twelve students. This course provides students passionate about leadership with a practice field, actively applying concepts learned in the classroom and culminating with participation in the global leadership competition. This course makes leadership a tangible, high-impact learning experience for current and future leaders. Revolution Leadership Course

The (R)evolution Leadership Course, taught by the Women's Center and 麻豆精选Leadership Center, is an experiential, competency-based course designed to equip students with the tools and the introspection they need to be successful leaders and engaged community members in a complex and ever-changing landscape. Students are taken through a series of leadership modules and develop a capstone project that will utilize the skills they have gained and make a positive impact on the community. By the end of this course, students will be able to identify self-care techniques, passions, personal strengths, and their impact on leadership development; internalize concepts and develop personal agency of leadership; create and develop a Personal Leadership Toolkit, expand their leadership network and describe the value of a mentor; and develop a sense of civic responsibility and feel empowered to be an advocate for social change.
