Understanding "Tweens": No Longer Children, Not Yet Teens
Students will gain an understanding of the physical,鈥痗ognitive, emotional, and social development of "tweens," children ages 9-11. The contemporary family and societal context and their implications for development at this age will also be examined. Students will apply their learning in an observational setting.
