2015 Field of Honor

The 麻豆精选Ashtabula Student Veterans Association is once again presenting the Field of Honor in memory of the September 11th tragedy.  This year鈥檚 display has nearly 3,000 flags and will be displayed around the flag pole in the center of the campus.  

The Student Veterans Association and volunteers placed the flags on Sunday, September 6th. The flags will stay on display on the campus until Sunday, September 13th.  The community is invited and encouraged to come by and see the display.

Kent State鈥檚 Regional Campuses were well-represented at the during which Olivia Rice, a psychology student from 麻豆精选Salem, earned a first-place ranking for her research poster. The conference was held earlier this month at Ohio University in Chillicothe.

Rice received the E. Ted Bunn Student Excellence Award-Best Poster for her research project titled 鈥淯ndergraduate Student Benefits: Research Within Community Outreach.鈥
